This progressive novella, told through the efforts of four of horror's brightest independent voices, tells the tale of a family inheritance and the price one pays for accepting it. A young woman is, apparently, gifted an estate of extreme value. Exploring her new inheritance with her friends, she finds out that the family tree has poison roots involving mass suicide, cult worship, and the quest for everlasting life. Horrified by the role she plays in continuing the family line, a decision will need to be made... reject the fortune or partake in a tradition so abhorrent, she just might be lost forever?
Family can be a bitch.
